Handmade... with love

So here lately I have been crocheting a lot. I made myself some awesome potholders (some alongside the highway!) which work great. I have made a couple of kitchen towels and dishcloths, which I have yet to use because they are so pretty, I hate to dirty them! And I have also been making some toys for my 9 month old baby boy. They are so cute! I will have to get pics posted soon of them... Anyway, I have made him a set of sea creatures - an octopus, a jellyfish, and a goldfish. And I have made him a set of vegetables - a potato (my fave), a tomato, an ear of corn, some sweet peas, a carrot, a cucumber, and an eggplant! They are so fun to make and so easy to whip up! I have been crocheting since I was about 10 years old, and it used to be that I would just make scarves or blankets... there is so much more out there! I am really enjoying these new quick projects! I hope to soon make a bag, and I am learning to crochet with recycled plastic bags also! So I really hope I am able to make the "green" bag that I set out to do when I researched plastic bag crocheting!
For those interested, I will post pictures and some basic directions maybe tomorrow...
