So how many of you write Christmas letters? You know, the form letter you send to all your friends and family that tells an annual summary of the life of your family... Traditionally sent with the Christmas cards and usually includes a group picture of either your whole family or at the very least, the kids. I don't write one every year, I usually try and do one on the years that we have something "new" to report. Whether that be a new house, job, child, whatever. Thats when I do. When everything is "same ol', same ol'" then I usually don't send anything. Well this year we had new things to report... we had a new child, my husband's job changed, things are looking up. I did write a "Christmas" letter. It now sits on my desk right here in front of me... Is anyone else bad about this? Normally I do send it out within a reasonable amount of time. I should still send it out, even though it is well past the Christmas season. The facts of the letter have not changed. I do have pictures of my children to send out with it. The problem is, the cost of postage has reached a ridiculous number and I know that it is only going to go up. That in itself is another topic to blog about... postage... But anyway. Please, someone else tell me if you are late in sending out the "Christmas" letter... help me to not feel so bad about it still sitting here... I think I will mail them this week. And you should too, if you haven't already....
